Governor Reynolds signed into law the so-called”fetal heartbeat bill”. The law forbids abortion when the heartbeat of a child is detectable or near 6 weeks of gestation. Other states have attempted similar legislation as attitudes nationwide shift on abortion. Today’s generation has the advantage of science and a growing awareness that abortion cannot be reduced to a simple word “choice” but that much more is at stake. The Hawkeye state stands for life!
