No way, José! Exciting News from the Diocese of San José
Thanks to the hard work of those on a mission to save lives, the Northern California Pregnancy Resource Collaborative network launched last year. “The network represents a collaboration among the pro-life pregnancy centers of Northern California, a new push for sharing resources that have proved effective in Southern California,” said Vicki Evans, respect life coordinator for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. “The genius of this program is that Options United has refined its online advertising to pinpoint abortion-minded and abortion-vulnerable women who may not know they have other choices,” Thomas Rudkins, Founder of Options United. “The percentage of women who call the helpline, accept an appointment at the recommended pregnancy center/clinic and then choose life is remarkable.
“Bishop Patrick J. McGrath is the latest Bishop to support this initiative.
He said,
“This Northern California Pregnancy Resource Collaborative Network makes total sense. Linking all of these support networks for those who are in a relationship and experiencing an unexpected pregnancy makes it more available to those in need of supporting life in the womb.
I welcome this opportunity to support this initiative in Northern California.”
The Diocese of San Jose dates to the founding of Mission Santa Clara de Asís (a Spanish mission) in 1777, today it encompasses Santa Clara County.
